We are literally making an attempt to cease a coup
Enlow lamented that the “arrogant, corrupt, and treacherous news media” barked the wrong tree in accusing it of demanding a coup. On the contrary – he claimed he was actually fighting to stop a coup.
I advocate the end of a coup that they not only know everything about, but are 100% involved. On November 3rd, 2020 at 10 p.m. everyone knew that Biden had lost and some were already announcing the obvious. Instead of accepting the will of the people (and the will of God), those who are now accusing of advocating a coup actually carried out a coup. You know what you did. Concerned now that their coup may not last and that they will be charged (they will) with high treason, they believe that if they can silence the voices calling for justice, their betrayal will stand . IT WILL NOT!!!
He warned the media that it would be best to “report the will of the people as it is expressed in their vote” (read: Report Trump Actually Won), stating that if they do, they “will crash.” Don’t do so “in God Himself.” In case anyone misses the point, he warns that any reporter who claims Biden won has become “an enemy of God”.
Fire and brimstone aside, Enlow seems to be making the same argument we’ve heard from a number of thugs and terrorists who took part in the January 6 riot: They didn’t carry out a coup, they tried to stop one. It’s a safe bet that all of the Enlow followers who participated in this horror will think the same thing.
But if you try to spread this argument in court, you will be surprised. You have likely heard that federal judges of all shades of ideology have heard insurgents trying to minimize or justify their behavior, and the judges have labeled these arguments “frivolous” or “ridiculous”. Attorney Daniel Evans reminds us how serious this is in his excellent refutation of the arguments of the tax protesters.
When a judge calls an argument “ridiculous” or “frivolous”, that is absolutely the worst that the judge can say. This means that the person arguing the case has absolutely no idea what they are doing and has completely wasted everyone’s time. It doesn’t mean that the case wasn’t well argued or that the judge simply decided on the other side, it means that there was no other side. The argument was absolutely positive, incompetent. The judge is not telling you that you were wrong. The judge is telling you that you are crazy.
Cliff Notes version: when a judge says your argument is frivolous, they say you have no argument, no case, nothing. Claiming that you are staging a violent coup to stop a coup is exactly the definition of frivolous.
So go ahead and argue, Johnny. And convince your followers of it. And see what happens when you try to market this in court. We warn you.
