Sea ice is rising within the Antarctic – watts with it?

Just a quick post today on sea ice trends in Antarctica, a place global warming alarmists hate to talk about

For some reason, the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) does not add a trend line to the annual minimum and mean sea ice extent for Antarctica.

So we added these trend lines:

Data source: JMA

The minimum sea ice extent has remained constant over the past four decades. But both mean and maximum sea ice extent has increased, which means more ice at the South Pole.

Of course, more ice only forms when the temperature drops. Global warming has not yet reached the South Pole. This is one of the most uncomfortable regions in the world for global warming alarmists.
