Republicans, fueled by Trump’s electoral fraud fable, are decided to dam non-voting elections
Overall, this means that 58% of Americans prioritize protecting their voting rights, while only 38% focus on rooting out potential fraud. However, the partisan one-sided split between Republicans and the rest of America is just another data point showing that GOP voters live in a different world from everyone else.
The partisan divide is a direct consequence of Donald Trump’s mental inability to accept the fact that he lost fair and fair, followed by his rampant perpetuation of the myth that the 2020 election was somehow stolen from him. GOP lawmakers helped by backing this unsubstantiated lie and largely voting against confirming a choice that was tested in more than 60 trips to the courthouse and turned out to be absolutely solid. Trump and his Crackerjack attorneys have not been able to uncover a single case of fraud. You lost buddy, get over it. Russia couldn’t manipulate the 2020 elections enough to overdo them after helping US deaths rise well over half a million from the pandemic. It turns out that people love to live and are not particularly upset that their life is being stolen from them by the infallible incompetence of their leader. Imagine that.
Either way, the Republican voter unreality bubble reappeared when the poll asked about voter confidence in their state to hold fair elections. Overall, 74% of respondents showed confidence in their state, including 88% of Democrats who live in the Biden state and 80% of Democrats who live in the states where Trump won. But when it came to Republicans living in Biden states, only 39% said they trusted their state to hold fair elections, while 60% said they didn’t.
Your guy lost again, get over it.
