Much more hassle for Matt Gaetz as his pimp pal’s efforts to acquire a Trump pardon come to mild

Gaetz didn’t usually pay women directly for sex – instead he paid Greenberg, who then paid the women. That means Greenberg knows a lot, and since Greenberg faces significant legal issues, he seems motivated to speak. Before he started speaking to the federal government, however, Greenberg spoke to Roger Stone in late 2020 in hopes that Stone could convince Donald Trump to give him a last-minute apology.

Greenberg spoke to Stone a lot, and The Daily Beast has the receipts in the form of signal chats between Greenberg and Stone and a lengthy confession letter Greenberg wrote for Stone to use in his endeavors with Trump. Remarkably, Gaetz once posted a social media picture of himself, Stone and Greenberg.

In the letter, of which The Daily Beast has several drafts, Greenberg describes how he learned through “an anonymous tip” that a woman – it turned out to be a girl – in his and Gaetz ‘sex trafficking program was 17 years old.

I immediately called the congressman and warned him to stay away from this person and informed him that she was a minor, “Greenberg wrote. “He was just as shocked and concerned about this revelation.”

They were so shocked and distraught that they did not stay away from the girl until they were 18 years old. She was one of the women Greenberg paid immediately after Gaetz had sent him $ 900 through Venmo with the message “Hit up” [her nickname]. ”

In his communication with Stone, Greenberg suspended his argument for a pardon in part on the threat to Gaetz. “And while I haven’t had any communication with MG, he needs to know that the sexual charge you hit me with is the one you would hit him with, ”he wrote in one of the signaling messages. “All he has to do is explain the situation and his exposure to POTUS and that would be very easy.”

MG is like a son for POTUS. MG is like a brother to me. “

Well, we know how far “like a son” goes to Donald Trump, and now we know how far “like a brother” goes to Matt Gaetz. And for Greenberg, who apparently screened his Signal chats with Stone before they could go missing, into just one of several insurance policies he took out for himself in case the pardon efforts fail.

Gaetz is defiant and tries to remain a prominent figure in the Republican Party, as demonstrated by his planned tour with Greene. But even before the investigation into him became public, it was serious enough that then Attorney General William Barr reportedly took steps to avoid being photographed around him. An attack on the media will only go so far if it is under federal charges.
