J & J’s attraction denied by the US Supreme Court docket

June 2021 – The U.S. Supreme Court said Tuesday that it would not appeal Johnson & Johnson on a $ 2 billion ruling in favor of women who claimed to develop ovarian cancer from using the company’s talc products will listen.

The country’s supreme court didn’t say why it dismissed Johnson & Johnson’s appeal, the Associated Press reported.

A Missouri state court originally awarded 22 women $ 4.7 billion, but a state appeals court lowered that to $ 2 billion and eliminated two of the plaintiffs.

Johnson & Johnson alleged it was not treated fairly because it faced a lawsuit involving 22 plaintiffs from 12 states and from diverse backgrounds, the AP reported.
