Goya’s Pendejo President reignites #BoycottGoya with CPAC remarks selling Trump as a official POTUS
Newsweek’s Emily Czachor shared his allusions to the election:
The CEO then reiterated unsubstantiated claims related to illegitimate election procedures that Trump and his supporters advocated after the general competition in November. The claims are largely discredited.
“I think I got how many people I know and many of them received unsolicited ballots,” Unanue told CPAC attendees. “So, I mean, as a citizen of the United States, I think I get to vote once. Once. Not twice.”
CNN’s Daniel Dale tweeted punch after punch.

Goyas Unanue went on to joke, “Sorry Twitter, I’ve already been canceled. You can’t do it again. No way.” then to say that “the majority” of the people voted for Trump (Biden got the majority).

The social media response was quick and calls to boycott Goya increased.

I thought I read that the board of @GoyaFoods had told their babbling fool, the CEO of the conspiracy theorist, to shut up. But here is the “My Pillow Guy” from Frijoles who is spreading lies on Cult-PAC. Thank you @CapehartJ for reminding me so I never buy his crappy Adobo. pic.twitter.com/gNAOkyF4jm

I understand the chef’s feelings, but I suggest that if you have Goya products on your shelves, donate them to a local animal shelter or food program. I donated my Goya products to a food bank after the first calls to boycott Goya in July 2020 Unanue visited the White House and praised Trump.
There are other brands and you can learn to make your own condiments. When the first calls for a boycott came out, many people posted instructions and recipes.
Rice, beans, and Puerto Rican-style foods are staples in my home.
I cook them without Goya. You can also.
