All of this worries his GOP ally a little as he kicks off what is expected to be a boisterous summer season with campaign-style rallies. Party leaders hoped Trump would focus his speeches on defaming President Joe Biden and the policies he was introducing. But guess what – Trump doesn’t care about politics! Gosh, what a revelation.

Sources familiar with Trump’s thinking describe him as bored with the topics he would like to focus on – from threats to American energy infrastructure to increased inflation and other economic concerns. He was so obsessed with his unsuccessful re-election, a former Trump official said that he had moved towards irrelevance.

“It’s like a balloon slowly leaking out from the ground,” said the ex-Trump official.
